I have performed both of those but still getting issues finding both equally to work. Now If you're tech savvy you will not have a difficulty with this. My daughter is tech savvy and worked it in a very hot minute. I'd buy these speakers yet again. I Definitely love them. And allow me to insert that I ordered them the working day right before C
